This fully automated machine consists of a pallet system with 11 active stations. Auto load/unload. Adhesion promoter with UV verification. Six tape die cuts placed. Robot vision pick & place. Custom die cut applicators with cross-web positioning. Vision station for part quality confirmation. Operator replaces part magazines as needed. It produces a finished set of parts every 10 seconds. 

This applicator feeds off the roll, locates die cut in X/Y (cross-web), and applies using a soft urethane vacuum pad to get maximum wet-out.

This machine was built to make an existing press safe and to automate tasks with safety and ergonomic issues. Manufacturer was able to redeploy 9 operators to safer jobs in the plant. 

System developed to automatically produce sheet metal parts by integrating with a CNC sheet metal brake. 

This system utilizes a U5e with Sick 2D Vision Camera and vacuum to locate, pick, and place small die cuts of tape.
